韓國在先發投手金成民完投完封的優異表現率領下，韓國以2比0擊敗巴拿馬，順利拿下2連勝。
金成民先發6局用了64球、送出3次三振，成功封鎖對手打線，韓國和巴拿馬在這場比賽安打加起來僅7支，不過在掌握時機的部分，韓國佔了上風，「目前投手和守備狀況都不錯，打擊雖然時機抓得好，但還是要再多練。」總教練金成勳表示。
巴拿馬雖然接連敗給美國和韓國，但分數都在2分以內，賽後巴拿馬總教練Nash Jorge說：「坐了32個小時的飛機來到台灣，還有一些時差問題，再加上氣候適應也還需要一些時間，我相信下一場會更好。」
另一場，委內瑞拉則是以17比0擊敗俄羅斯，和韓國目前都是2連勝。
