決戰時刻 楊念祖請辭國防部長

甫上任短短6天的國防部長楊念祖，6日晚間緊急召開記者會，辭去部長職務。楊念祖說明，由他主編的「決戰時刻」專書，被某位學者指控其中一篇請友人代寫由他署名的文章，內容涉抄襲。民進黨立法委員蔡煌瑯今(7)日上午指出，他認為此事內情並不單純，「我們懷疑，這是國防部保守勢力的大反撲」。
楊念祖說，他已親赴總統府，向院長與總統報告整個事件的來龍去脈，並向院長與總統表示，於此當前的重大挑戰時刻，不想因他個人過失而影響政府、國軍的榮譽，決定負起責任，向總統、院長請辭負責。
楊念祖也對個人錯誤，向國人表示鄭重道歉，並希望社會各界繼續支持國軍。前民進黨主席蔡英文6日深夜表示，總統必須穩定政府運作並迅速處理危機，但短短一周內2位國防部長去職，政局令人擔憂。
對於楊念祖因某篇文章涉及抄襲而請辭，民進黨立委蔡煌瑯上午接受媒體訪問時表示，「我們高度懷疑，這件事情內情並不單純」。蔡煌瑯也質疑，這件事情應該和國防部的內部保守勢力反撲有關。
