宜蘭縣長林聰賢今天聲援台南市長賴清德說，縣市長也是人不是神，颱風來是否停班停課，各縣市皆依據中央氣象局所提供的科學數據來做決策，這是全國皆然的。

對於民眾的抱怨與不滿，身為首長除傾身聆聽外更應蓋括承受，而中央政府及氣象局對於在提供不夠精確的數據，更不能一味推諉及指責地方首長的不是，而是共同將分內工作給做好。
