wifi可遠距離使用嗎?

請問一下喔我今天在鄰居那邊聽說他家裡沒有網路但是她哥哥不知道是用了什麼方法讓他在他家用手機時也可以使用他哥哥家的wifi (他們沒有住的很近)
請問這是有可能的嗎? 如果有可能那請問是什麼方法呢?
