李昆澤也說，據他了解，高鐵公司之前推出的「藍橘雙色優惠」班次約佔每周班次八成，將來新推出的『雙色優惠』，他也會要求班次不得低於八成。

台灣高鐵8日起調漲票價，平均漲幅約近一成。此舉引發立法院交通委員會朝野立委不滿，甚至以拒審預算，要求交通部努力透過更多優惠，讓票價回到未漲價前的水準。對於漲價爭議，高鐵公司24日召開臨時董事會，決議延長優惠措施到明年底，同時，在明年春節售票前會提出更大的優惠方案，但立委對此仍不滿意。
高鐵24日董事會討論票價案，決議目前優惠方案截止期限從明年三月底延長至明年底，並再請經理部門研議下殺2~3折的超級早鳥票、平日特殊時段優惠、離峰特殊時段優惠票，恢復類似「藍橘雙色優惠」的購票方案，平日特定時段、假日離峰時段，無須提前八天，現場購票即可享折扣，於今年底前提出並定案。
民進黨籍立委李昆澤則列出高鐵目前優惠方案，他說，「要讓大家了解，我會再努力」，高鐵目前優惠方案包括：1.早鳥票：乘車日前8~28天購票，享有65折、8折或9折。2.熟年優惠(60-64歲)：75折。3.大學生優惠票 (大專院校在學生持效學生證)：5折~7折。4.回數票 約79折：45天內搭8次。今年8/1~10/31作促銷：買回數票送一張五折券。5.定期票 約45折：30天內搭乘完畢。
李昆澤說，會繼續要求高鐵提出：運量提升計畫、提出更多更優惠的票種；他今 (28)日表示，對戰多次，雖爭取到擴大早鳥票、熟年票、大專生優惠，但是這樣還不夠，今天繼續向交通部長葉匡時具體要求之下，明年元月6日應會推出2~3折的超級早鳥票，與雙色優惠(規劃中)；但他覺得這樣還不夠，還是要強調『高鐵的問題是運量而不是票價』，為了消費者的權益，「我還會繼續『哥哥纏』下去...交通部與高鐵公司一定覺得我很盧... 」
