今年首次夏季海灘水質　福隆、墾丁全優良

夏日有許多民眾愛到海邊玩水，環保署今發布今年第一次海灘水質監測，結果顯示包括福隆、新金山、通霄、馬沙溝、西子灣、旗津、墾丁跳石(南灣休憩區海岸)、港口海灘、外澳、杉原及觀音亭等11處海灘，水質均為優良等級。
 
環保署表示，此次監測日期為6月29、30日，海灘水質在一般天候大多優良，但降雨、大雨沖刷後，水質可能惡化，大腸桿菌群可增加數百倍，腸球菌群可增加數十倍，通常需3天左右才會恢復正常，提醒民眾最好應避免降雨後3天內前往海灘戲水。
 
環保署說，下一次監測結果將在9月初更新，民眾可上全國環境水質監測資訊網（http://www.epa.gov.tw/beach）更新最新資訊。（唐鎮宇／台北報導）
