講英文的時候，你是不是心中常常模模糊糊一片，覺得自己英文是不夠好，但又說不出來哪裡不夠？平常講英文還頗溜，怎麼一到presentation的場合就不夠用？旅行溝通還OK，一旦到了國外參加研討會，卻怎麼都開不了口？問題在哪裡呢？

以下是六個不同形態的問題，請你試著以英文回答看看，每一題都用盡量完整回答，但回答時間都不要超過1分鐘。

[敘述] Q1：Tell me how a new product developed in your company.
[意見] Q2：How acceptable is it for wild animals to be kept in zoos?
[指示] Q3：Tell me how you deal with a customer complaint.
[情境] Q4：（你在旅館想換房間，怎麼說？）
[描述] Q5：Please describe your company (size/ asset/ annual turnover).
[假設] Q6：What would you do if a supervisor asked you to do something the wrong way?

無法回答第一題的人，代表敘述語言不足

敘述語言不足的人的特徵是：
1、句子很短，而且句子和句子之間沒有關聯性。
2、時態不一致。

解方：把時間轉折的連接詞或副詞搞清楚，用對的時態，就能把敘述語言講好！
After/ finally/ soon/ as (soon as)/ later/ then/ before/ meanwhile/ upon/ during/ next/ when/ first/ now/ and while.

無法回答第二題的人，代表意見語言不足

這是一般台灣英文學習者較容易掌握的語言，無法回答這個問題的人，可能是：
1、不會用that引導出來的子句。
2、不會用比較級。

解方：熟記下列表達意見的句型，找個同事或朋友演練。
