人權觀察組織在一份報告指出，聯合國駐非洲部隊的士兵性侵索馬利亞的婦女。

人權觀察報告指出，在飽受戰爭與貧困蹂躪的索馬利亞，一些遭性侵的婦女說，這些士兵在事後給她們錢或者食物，試圖將性侵定調為性交易。
