網售DIY肉毒桿菌套組　亂打恐失明

據英國《每日星報》報導指，網路上最近出現一款DIY肉毒桿菌針(Botox)套裝組，包括一講解步驟及注意事項的DVD、注射器及「肉毒桿菌劑」，售價為275英鎊（約台幣13800元）。有英國醫生警告，打肉毒桿菌需要執業醫生親手處理，否則可能會造成失明等問題。

英國美學整容醫生協會主席格羅弗醫生(Dr Rajiv Grover)稱：「DIY肉毒桿菌套裝實在太可怕了，它們真的很危險，而販售的人不會理會你的健康或安全，而只會索取你的信用卡資料。」 格羅弗續指：「肉毒桿菌是一項醫學程序而非美容療程，需要執業醫生操刀，否則危險可就大了。如果注射的位置出錯，即使只是數公厘的差距，就可造成失明、眼部下垂、疊影及其他永久臉部問題。」 他又表示，自行注射並非最大的危險：「你根本不會知道自己購買的是什麼，肉毒桿菌劑可以是任何東西。美國便有一名醫生在網上訂購來自中國的肉毒桿菌劑，給家人注射，但因這些肉毒桿菌劑藥力過強，其家人全都被送往醫院加護病房。」（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
