加州州政府官員6日為美國首列子彈列車舉行破土儀式，加州高速鐵路邁入新里程碑。

市府官員說，斥資680億美元的子彈列車時速320公里，從洛杉磯到舊金山不到3小時，將成為全美的模範。

加州中央谷區的農民和社區反對這項工程，已向法院提告。中央谷區選出的國會共和黨議員則誓言削減預算。
