國民黨主席朱立倫今天下午到苗栗市，為黨籍立委補選候選人徐志榮助選，並陪同車隊掃街拜票，他回應記者提問時說，國民黨這次推出的立委補選5名候選人都具有民意基礎，他對選情相當有信心，國民黨現階段拚補選，2016年總統選舉黨內初選，都會按既定的期程，不會有政治算計。
