你舉的例子表示 similar 這個字在數學上是「相似」的意思，但在數學上沒有「比較相似 more similar」、「最相似 the most similar」的用法。

此外， similar 在古用法可以當名詞，表示「相似之物」，並且還是可數名詞，古時候可用 similars 的寫法。
