財神到！沙國新王送人民9600億

紐約時報報導，沙烏地阿拉伯新國王沙曼登基後，頒布諭令大方撒錢給人民，英國投資公司艾許摩爾集團駐沙國利雅德的中東主管史法克納基斯估計，總額超過320億美元（約台幣9600億元），全民皆大歡喜。

這筆錢包括：給專業協會、文學和運動俱樂部的補助款；自來水和電力建設款；給公務員、軍人、退休人士和國內外公費學生加發的兩個月薪水。有些私人公司跟進，給沙國員工加發可觀的薪資。
