印度再發生駭人聽聞的「榮譽殺人」事件。東部城市蘭契（Ranchi）一名女子，懷疑與已婚戀人暗結珠胎，觸怒父母，結果遭謀殺並掛屍樹上。

據《Dainik Bhaskar》新聞網報導，女子拉妮（Rani）與鄰村的一名已婚男子一見鍾情後，兩人瞞著家人發展關係，直至拉妮意外懷孕，被迫跟家人道出真相。不過，拉妮與情人周二在火車站現身後失蹤，直至隔日在一處車站附近，發現兩人被掛屍樹上。警方不排除是拉妮的親屬進行榮譽殺人，正追查兇手下落。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
