外交部發言人高安今（12）日表示，經駐外館處確認，20多名受困肯亞機場的旅客，目前安全無恙。

肯亞的甘耶達國際機場7日發生火災，機場關閉維修，統計有25名台灣旅客暫時無法回台。外交部發言人高安今（12）日表示，經駐外館處確認，目前20多名旅客安全無恙，不過由於無法轉機，目前旅客仍在機場滯留。
資料顯示，目前還在機場的，包括有豪福旅行社1團14人，原本預訂10日返台、晴天國際旅行社1團11人，原先預訂8日返台，全因機場關閉暫時遭到滯留。
由於我國在肯亞並無外館，高安表示，已聯絡兼轄肯亞的駐南非代表處積極協處，由於南非離肯亞有段距離，代表處先聯絡當地僑胞就近協助。
外交部亞非司司長王建業接受中央社訪問時指出，外交部在肯亞並無辦事處，亞非司已請位於肯亞的中華民國對外貿易發展協會人員協助；旅客是否可能直接從尚比亞經其他路線回台，外交部也連絡旅行社持續了解。
