輕度颱風潭美20日持續逼近台灣，氣象局發布豪雨特報，受到颱風外圍環流影響，在基隆北海岸、北部及東北部地區有局部大雨或豪雨發生的機率。（圖／中央社）

潭美直撲台灣而來，氣象局在昨(20)日晚間11點30分時表示，潭美颱風過去3小時強度略為增強，且暴風圈也有擴大的現象，目前其中心在台北東南東方海面，向西北西移動，正逐漸接近東部海面，對宜蘭、花蓮及台中以北地區將構成威脅。
氣象局已經在昨日晚間8點30分正式發布海上陸上颱風警報，宜蘭、台北、新北、花蓮及基隆地區應嚴加戒備並防強風豪雨，適逢大潮期間，沿海低窪地區應嚴防淹水及海水倒灌。
根據氣象局晚間11點30分最新資料顯示，輕度颱風潭美目前位置在台北的東南東方約530公里的海面上，以每小時20轉23公里速度，向西北西進行，暴風圈正逐漸接近台灣東部海面，對北部海面、東北部海面及東南部海面將構成威脅。
氣象局指出，自昨日0時起至23時為止，出現較大累積雨量如桃園縣觀音251毫米、新北市林口225毫米，適逢大潮期間，沿海低窪地區應嚴防淹水及海水倒灌。
