美國CFTC執法部門主管將離職

彭博資訊報導，美國商品期貨交易委員會（CFTC）執法部門主管麥斯特（David Meister），預料將在數周內離職。

CFTC發言人阿達慕斯克（Steve Adamske）表示，麥斯特尚未宣布其他計畫。麥斯特曾擔任聯邦檢察官和私人執業律師，2010年11月被選為CFTC執法部門主管。

在麥斯特掌管CFTC執法部門期間，CFTC和其他監管機關先後就倫敦銀行間拆放利率（Libor）等基準利率操縱案和巴克萊（Barclays）、蘇格蘭皇家銀行（RBS）、瑞士銀行（UBS ）及毅聯匯業（ICAP）達成和解，和解金額超過25億美元。另外，CFTC也和其他監管機關聯手調查摩根大通（JPMorgan Chase）去年爆發62億美元交易虧損的案件。
