Lamigo桃猿與統一獅於屏東球場進行熱身賽，比賽至第三局，場內灑水器卻突然噴水，讓比賽稍微中斷。

官辦熱身賽第2天，猿獅在屏東球場交手，獅隊在首局就利用朱元勤、劉芙豪兩支長打取得1比0領先。

三局上，無人出局、一二壘有人時輪到劉芙豪打擊，場內灑水器卻突然噴出水來，迫使比賽稍微暫停。

比賽目前進行至五局下半，獅隊以4比0領先，獅猿在場上投球的仍是雙方先發羅錦龍及林柏佑。
