Windows XP 硬碟資料傳輸

知識問題|

　
　因為舊機 Windows XP 配備已經年久失修而損壞的關係
　
　跑去買了一台全新的 Windows 7
　
　原本想用幾年前買的資料傳輸線再把 Windows XP 的硬碟資料直接傳過去
　
　但是連接後卻一直顯示需要格式化才能使用
　
　但格式化後硬碟內的東西不就清空了
　
　請問有什麼方法可以解決嗎 ?
　
　或者是其它較為簡單的方式也可以
　
　還是只能乖乖找一台 Windows XP 的電腦插入硬碟去做隨身碟備份呢 ?
