（中央社洛杉磯31日綜合外電報導）1位加州公路警察局（California Highway Patrol）發言人指出，維珍銀河公司（Virgin Galactic）太空飛機今天在沙漠墜毀，兩位駕駛1死，1重傷。

這位發言人告訴法新社，受傷駕駛已被送往醫院治療。

路透報導，當局指出，維珍銀河公司研發的未進入地球軌道載客太空飛機今天在加州莫哈維沙漠（MojaveDesert）上空試飛時墜毀，副駕駛死亡，正駕駛跳機逃生受傷。

克恩郡警長發言人普魯特（Ray Pruitt）說，駕駛在失事現場被發現並送往當地醫院治療。(中央社)
