英交通部長將訪台歷來最高層級

英國交通部長克雷默（Baroness Kramer）爵士下週將率英國鐵道貿易訪問團訪台，這是英國交通部歷年訪台最高層級部長官員。

英國貿易文化辦事處今天中午宣布，克雷默將於1月26到27日率英國鐵道貿易訪問團訪台，主要目的是加強台英雙邊貿易與投資往來，推廣英國交通產業優勢，特別是在鐵路、城市及都市更新等基礎建設。

英國駐台機構表示，克雷默是英國交通部歷年訪台灣層級最高部長官員，訪問團也是歷年人數最多的鐵道貿易訪問團。

克雷默受邀27日在一場由英國貿易文化辦事處與交通部共同舉辦的「台英軌道研討會」中致詞，見證2場簽約儀式，分別是由英國鐵路工業協會（UK’sRailway Industry Association）與台灣軌道工程學會簽署的合作備忘錄，另一個是由英國軌道工程訓練學院（UK’s National Rail Engineers Skills Academy）與中華顧問工程司合作意向書。

克雷默將拜會交通部、公共工程委員會、行政院環境保護署及台北市政府。
