《Reuters》報導，希臘財政部長 Yanis Varoufakis 周日表示，他們會徹底改革希臘，同時希望能夠改善與國際債權人談判的效率，盡速拿到紓困款項。希臘本週必須向國際貨幣基金組織 IMF 償還貸款，但從去年八月開始希臘就沒有拿到任何一筆抒困金，違約倒債風險相當高。

本週四希臘當局要支付給 IMF 的金額高達 4.94 億美元，希臘內政部長表示可能會挪用其他資金先支付 IMF，IMF 主席拉加德也對於希臘承諾準時還款表示歡迎。不過希臘違約風險依舊存在，本月需要取得更多紓困資金。

現在希臘當局將希望放在本月 8-9 日舉行的歐元區副財政部長會議上，不過外界普遍預期屆時不會有任何進展。本月 24 日歐元區財政部長會議也即將召開，可能成為希臘取得資金的最後希望。
