美股周四小反彈收紅，台股進入7月營收公布倒數時間，9日止跌以紅盤開出，盤中以宏達電、TPK、可成等股力守紅盤，表現相對強勢，可惜領頭的台積電尾盤走弱，僅以平盤作收，金融股利多不漲，7900點終究還是失守，終場以7856.14點作收，下跌51.53點，成交769.62億元；周線收跌243.74點，跌幅3.01%。
美股周四反彈，道瓊工業指數收漲27.65點，NASDAQ指數收漲15.12點，S&P500指數收漲6.57點，費城半導體指數收漲0.19點。亞洲股市部分，日股開盤上漲67.94點，韓股開盤上漲0.6點。
台股9日以7955點開出，上漲47.33點，台積電回神，宏達電走高，但大立光、聯發科下跌，加上金融股利多不漲，拖累指數無力上攻，反而震盪向下，盤中高低點震盪百點，不過，台積電早盤回神股價開高可惜無力攻高，終場僅收平盤。
金融股走跌，雖然金控股7月獲利表現較去年同期成長，但類股卻是利多不漲，拖累大盤指數下殺至平盤之下；傳產股部分，玻陶股、橡膠股、觀光股、化學股力守紅盤作收；汽車股、水泥股、電器股等跌幅逾1%。
