年過30的熟男們之間吹起手作風，只要有一雙巧手，你也能自己做星象儀，照相機！日本知名雜誌《大人的科學》（大人の科学マガジン）歡度10歲生日，編輯長對於台灣也有許多雜誌迷相當開心，並允諾在2013年內將推出中文版！

大人的科學由兒童雜誌《0年的科學》衍生創刊，主要是針對60、70、80年代的成年人出刊，希望這些曾喜歡過動手做樂趣的學童，在成年後仍可繼續維持好奇心。該雜誌每期都會贈送一項可自行動手做的贈品，從相機到留聲機都有，且可以實際使用。

這次歡度10週年，編輯長西村俊之與台灣誠品書店合辦聯展，以及「Around 40, from a boy to a MAN」主題書展，在誠品信義店將星象儀搬進館內，民眾可在裡面欣賞在都市難以見到，在夜空閃耀的5萬顆點點星光，不必上擎天崗給小黑蚊叮，也能看到美麗夜空。同時可看到創刊至今多達80項的展品，包含每分鐘翻頁一次且可透過電波自動與日本對時的電波計時器，以及銷售創紀錄的9號星象儀，現已買出65萬組。
