美政府停擺 AIT：服務目前不受影響

美國國會未能達成共識通過應急預算方案，美國聯邦政府從10月1日起停止運作。美國在台協會(AIT)發言人金明 (Mark Zimmer) 表示，以AIT目前所有的資源，AIT 提供的服務在近期內不會受任何影響，至於赴美商旅之國人是否會受到影響？金明說他無法替美國政府機關發言。

外交部北美司副司長陳立國表示，台美交流、往來方面不會有「立即、明顯」的影響，美國政府部門部分關閉才剛開始，對於兩國間官方、民間往來是否受到衝擊，外交部會密切關注。
