鑰匙失靈了，銬在犯罪嫌疑人手上的手銬無法打開。一時間，失靈的手銬難住了看守所的民警。在消防官兵的幫助下，失靈的手銬被順利取下。

根據長沙晚報報導，7月10日16時許，一名女子在兩名民警的押解下來到零陵區消防大隊求助。據民警稱，女犯罪嫌疑人手上的手銬用鑰匙無法打開，希望消防官兵能夠幫助打開手銬。救援官兵對銬住犯罪嫌疑人的手銬進行了查看。發現手銬雖然失靈，但是手銬在犯人的手腕部位還是留有一定的空隙，這為解除手銬留下了一線活動的餘地。了解了手銬的結構和手銬與手腕之間的距離後，消防官兵判定可使用液壓剪剪開手銬。為防止犯罪嫌疑人的手腕在剪切過程中被劃傷，消防官兵用老虎鉗固定住手銬。3分鐘後，『啪』的一聲脆響，手銬應聲而斷。
