波蘭1對夫妻帶小孩前往葡萄牙旅行，到了壯麗的海岬邊，認為美景當前不自拍紀念實在太可惜，因此冒險站到懸崖邊緣，結果一不小心就跌落幾百英尺高的崖下。

據英國《每日郵報》報導，警方表示，這對夫妻應該是為了要靠近羅卡角(Cabo da Raca)海岬，以壯闊的大西洋為背景，但超越安全範圍才不幸喪生。6歲與5歲的子女目睹這一切，目前已接受心理治療。

葡萄牙救難單位9日接獲報案，試圖打撈2人遺體，但由於海像不佳無法行動，直到10日仍然無法行動。
