台南百年惜字亭被拆 文史界痛批

台南市的古蹟又少了一處！位在國定古蹟祀典武廟前方的惜字亭，今天下午遭人拆除，文史界痛批，因相關單位處置不夠積極，讓古蹟一處處消失，空有文化古都之名。

文史界人士估計，這座惜字亭至少有百年以上的歷史，下午遭到一旁施工中的民宅雇工拆除，台南市文化資產管理處人員獲報趕到現場時，只剩下一堆殘破的紅磚。

文化部文化資產局表示，該惜字亭並非屬於武廟古蹟的一部分，而且土地為私人所有，因此無法可管。
