高雄輕軌列車 11月進行測試

高雄交通史上將出現新變革，全台首輛輕軌已抵達高雄，高雄市長陳菊表示，高雄環狀輕軌是亞洲第一條採用全線無架空線供電系統的輕軌，預計於11月進行動態測試，未來將交由高雄捷運公司營運，將提供低碳環保與高品質的公共運輸服務，也讓歷經石化氣爆的高雄，在面臨挑戰之際，注入了新的元氣！

高雄環狀輕軌路線全長約22.1公里，將設置36處候車站、1處機廠，第一階段工程長度約8.7公里，總工程經費165億3700萬。而輕軌車廂採用100%低地板設計，車廂每一車門入口處地板與月台齊平，且列車內部均未設置階梯，列車全長約34米長、2.65米寬，其中座位64人、立位186人，約可搭載250人。

車廂外觀依照城市特色意象發展，內裝設計簡潔清新，並考量民眾乘車習慣、運量與搭乘距離等因素，安排座椅、扶手的配置及數量。輕軌列車採用5節車廂之編組，車廂間走道連通，車門採用滑塞式車門，保持車體外部與車門處平滑之流線，列車組每側設置四扇出入口，每扇門開啟淨寬可達1.3米，方便乘客快速進出車廂。
