韓國SBS電視台１日首播新劇《美女的誕生》，該劇日前舉辦發表會，導演李昌民率主角群到場，女主角韓藝瑟2011年拍KBS電視劇《間諜明月》時，曾罷演該劇並自行飛往美國，引發爭議；時隔３年她終於再次演出新戲，《美女》導演笑說「已沒收她的護照」，防止她再度逃跑。

當年《間諜明月》開拍沒多久，韓藝瑟因不滿密集拍攝與導演鬧不合，要求換導演不果，竟罷演並飛往美國，造成該劇停播；她雖在輿論壓力下很快回國，且紅著雙眼辯稱「不得已才這麼做」，但劇組公開拍攝日誌，發現她常遲到、怠工以致延誤進度，令大眾對她不諒解。
