勇士隊台北時間4日將王建民下放小聯盟，另外原本已被列入開季先發投手名單中的Wandy Rodriguez則遭釋出。

王建民去年與勇士隊簽小聯盟合約，獲邀參加大聯盟春訓，他在大聯盟熱身賽出賽5場、1場先發，投11.1局，被擊出17支安打包括1支全壘打，失7分、6分責失，防禦率4.76；可惜建仔的表現沒有得到勇士教練團的青睞，沒擠上大聯盟開季的先發輪值名單，必須從小聯盟出發。

而日前，勇士隊因為Mike Minor受傷，暫定Julio Teheran、Alex Wood、Shelby Miller、Wandy Rodriguez等4人是開季的先發投手，昨天從響尾蛇隊交易來Trevor Cahill，現在Wandy Rodriguez被釋出，Eric Stults將會在先發名單中。
